FAQ’s

  • Anchor Point is a membership-based primary care practice. Membership covers enhanced access, physician time, and care coordination. Most members continue to use their insurance for laboratory testing, imaging, prescriptions, hospital care, and specialty consultations.

  • Membership supports:

    • Same- or next-day access for routine concerns

    • Longer, unhurried appointments

    • Direct communication with your physician

    • Preventive and longitudinal care planning

    • Coordination with specialists and consultants

Membership allows the practice to remain intentionally small so care can stay personal and responsive.

  • Membership does not cover:

    • Laboratory testing

    • Imaging studies

    • Medications

    • Hospital or emergency department care

    • Specialty care outside the practice

These services are typically billed through insurance, as they would be in a traditional model.

  • Anchor Point maintains a deliberately limited patient panel.

Traditional primary care practices often care for 2,000–3,000 patients, and many concierge models manage 600–800. Anchor Point is designed differently, with a panel capped at approximately 250 patients.

This smaller panel allows for meaningful access to your physician, extended visits without time pressure, and continuity of care that is difficult to achieve in larger practices.

Once the panel is full, enrollment may pause and a waitlist may be established.

  • Members have direct physician access and clear guidance for urgent concerns. For true emergencies, members are directed to seek emergency care, with follow-up coordination as appropriate.

  • Yes. Many members travel regularly and value having a physician who knows their history and can provide guidance, coordination, and follow-up when needed. Expectations are reviewed during the introductory call.

  • The first step is a brief introductory call to determine whether Anchor Point is the right fit. If so, enrollment and medical intake are completed securely through the clinical system.
